Mountain Man Breakfast (DO) Dutch Oven Camp Cooking in VT(influenced by BCFF member Dragonma). Family VT camping and brook trout fishing. Cooking with charcoal coals - diameter minus 3 coals and add diameter plus 3 coals on lid (edges only), per Dragonma bacon, potatoes, eggs, bread, onions, peppers, spinach, cheese, etc. adding the cheese Final product of tasty deliciousness...

Now your camp cooking will never be the same. Sure beats hotdogs.
I have not heard if Jeff is a convert yet, but he will be.

Haven't converted yet. You say it "sure beats hotdogs." I was thinking of using a DO to cook hotdogs. ;D I'm dying to try some of that salt encrusted prime rib.

Yeah, like that! Hmm...
How do you get to go fishing when you go camping if you're managing hot coals for the DO for hours on end?

Seriously, that only took about an hour and fifteen minutes. About 35 min. in I started a second batch of coals and that was more than enough to finish cooking, then heat the water for clean up after.
It really couldn't be easier. Easier then posting pictures apparently ;D
