Cummington Fair

I took my family to the Cummington Fair today, and had a great time. Among other things, we saw our first rodeo. Plus an incredible aerial trapeze/motorcycle act.

It's been a couple of years or so since we last went, and I was pleasantly surprised how they've expanded it. I remembered it as being one of the best country fairs around, but didn't recall the quality of the acts being this good.

I haven't been in at least 10 years (before I had kids). I remember it being a nice, compact, little fair that still had a lot to offer. Our big county fair (Three County Fair in Northampton) starts is this weekend. The kids have found out about it and want to go, so I'll have to suck it up and bring them. I hate carnival rides- I get sick really easily. Oh well!
