It rained a lot on vacation last week, so I did a lot of tying. I had some help from the real thing, who modeled nicely for my gray wulf Here's a dragonfly nymph skin with a spun deer hair imitation. It's a great stillwater pattern. The spun deer hair works well, but its just as effective with wrapped chenille (I forgot my chenille, so had to improvise). It was a little easier to get this guy to sit still than it was the mayfly!
