For the most part I like what Mr Kid Rock creates. What I find confusing is how does this song fall into the "country music genre" ? When I'm working I tend to listen to the country station out of Boston. I don't have to worry about upsetting the home owner etc. When they started playing his new song I couldn't believe it. I do think it's a cool song, but to hear it on WAAF and then on WKLB just seems wrong even to this 50 year old. Being a retired musician I like most styles of music and I can say this isn't a country song.
I do crank it though when I'm in my truck ;D

I'm guessing Warren Zevon has a problem with the song's melody.
Sounds a great deal like his song, "Werewolves of London."
Still a good tune though and the video ain't bad either... (Youtube).
