Hi All First let me say I am new to this site and look forward to getting to know some people here. I will be fishing the the deerfeild and the green river the weekend of the 28-29. I am new to fishing this area. I fished the deerfield this year the end of aprill. If anyone could give me any information on where or when to fish or what bugs will be on the water fly patterns ect. Any help would be great. Monty

hi green
i too was a deerfield rookie and now i'm deerfield spoiled. at least when i'm with my guide tom harrison and his brother dan. they offer a guide/float trip that is really outstanding. their service was offered as a raffle for our millers river tu banquet and my neighbor won and asked me to go along. check them out at harrisonanglers.com - i first fished with them when i gave the trip to my brother (and me) for his birthday! they set us up with large flies - stimmies, fat alberts and tarantulas to name a few - with droppers - and looooooooooooong drag free drifts produce a fish catching experience you cannot get with wade fishing - and the kyakers are not a concern and no they don't pay me to say nice things - they are really that good!
