Managed to get about an hour of fishing in on the housy in lee on sunday. I was very happy to hook and land a nice brown which I would guess was in the 15" range. This morning I got out again and hooked another brown that was more in the range of 12" and ended up losing it on the bank.

Congrats! What fly did you catch them on?

I tied it myself and I guess it would resemble a beaded pheasant tail.

Caught another brown on Sunday on my now trusty BPT. The fish was about 11 inches but very fat.
I also for the first time tried a few dry flies. There was a bunch of fish rising but I wasn't able to get them to take. I tried lengthening and downsizing my leader but no luck. Can't remember the names of the dry but I did buy them from a reputable fly shop. Suggestions???
Having fun and learning the river.
