What section of the Deerfield C&R area's do you prefer?
The Upper Area from Fife Dam to the Hoosic Tunnel?
Or the Lower Area from Pelham Brook to the Campground?

I prefer the lower area by far and have caught the vast majority of my fish from this area. The upper sees alot more pressure and I must say that all of the times I have been to the lower section, I have only seen a couple of other guys. It is also much easier to wade as compared to the upper.
The two section differ greatly and I feel that the lower offers more dry fly opportunities. When a decent hatch starts in the lower section it seems to stay on for longer than those in the upper as well.
