Update on my Nephew Zach

A sincere thank you to everyone who prayed for Zach.

The doctors have determined that he has a massive abcess behind his eye that it causing it to bulge out horribly bad. However, they have also determined that the infection has not invaded the eye itself or the optic nerve.

He is schedule for surgery today to open the abcess and remove the infected fluid. He will continue his heavy course of antibiotics, but it appears that after the surgery and the infection abates, he will be out of the woods with little or no chance of any eye problems.

Again, I want to thank everyone who kept Zach in their prayers.

God does listen.

Wow, just saw this Mark. That's terrible but I'm glad that things aren't as bad as your first post.

I hope his surgery goes well and he's back on track soon.

Surgery went really well. The first words out of his mouth when he woke up were, "I feel great".

His eye is back in his head, all the pressure is off. Now that need to give the antibiotics time to work and he should have no long terms issues.
