Stopped and fished one of the turnouts along route 9 in Cummington on the upper East Branch of the Westfield. Fished about 25 minutes during light drizzle. There is finally some water in the river! I had two hookups (may have been the same fish) Got the second one close in close enough to see it was about a 12 inch rainbow. Both hookups were on a palmered maribou wooly bugger type thing, tied with orange and green maribou, some flashabou sides, and a large, wet-style partridge hackle.
