I went on my first guided trip ever a few weeks ago with a client and had a great trip. We launch out of Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ. landed my first striper and a ton of blues, all on the fly. Here's a few shots from the day. Sunrise over the Statue of Liberty, VERY cool. These blues are MEAN fish!

Looks like you were thowing sink tips...
Did you toss any of the Puglisi style flies like his infamous "Peanut Bunker" or did you stick with Deceivers?
Blues and Stripers with very little chop on the water. Now there's heaven!
Did you get a chance to drift around Montauk?

We where pretty far away from Montauk, this boat probably could of made the run though. Those pics where from earlier in the morning. The wind picked up around noon and we ended up having to dock after the small craft warning went out. This is the guide we went with: www.blackfinflyfishing.com/
