Just a short 2 hour drive from the Berkshires. ;D Do to the high waters around here I decided to go to the reservoir. After a couple of real frustrating hours ( I think I forgot how to fly fish!). I was ready to leave skunked again. On my way back to the truck I put on a 6x leader and tied on a stimulator to see if I could get my technique back. On what was suppose to be my last cast I watched as a couple of smallies race to my fly! I caught my first smallie on a fly ;D It got some great air a couple of times. It even was smart enough to unhook itself after I was done playing it. Barbless hooks helped with that part.
