The reports have been somewhat scarce and was wondering if any trout are being caught.
I haven't been to my favorite haunts in Wisconsin lately so I'll live vicariously through your reports.
I am thinking about going up on Saturday. The Hex are starting to show at night on Black Earth Creek. This always brings out the big (I mean really big) Browns...

I haven't landed anything spectacular this year. Haven't been fishing too much though...

Hi Mark,
I don't know if any of you get up to Pittsburg, NH, but every summer I go up there for a couple of days of great fishing. The first Conn. lake is a bottom release dam into the trophy stretch of the Conn. river which is flyfishing only and the water stays cold all through the summer. This year the water was the lowest I have ever seen it and I still managed to catch quite a few fish. If any of you can get away on weekdays I highly recommend the trip. It is about 5 hours from Lanesborough.
Make the trip if you can, it is worth the drive!!
Henry

I've had some great days, and some slow days. Just a typical summer on Berkshire steams....
