In spite of thr high water,the salmon river is fishing well.there are lots of crome through out the river.Small pink flies and flesh flies were working good for us this past weekend.Jim and dave headed for oak orchard creek,where them met up with Jim Teeny and Jim landed a brown trout of about 15 pounds and hooked up with others.We all hooked up on the salmon the next day and did good.need alot of weight to get down,just fish the seams and the fish are there...hope fully jim will post the pictures of his giant brown and the rest of the steelhead wintershope,,,,
