Great photos Dean. I saw some sweet looking dry fly water. Is that your wife in the bottom photo? Maybe next year...

You know I've never fished the Housy, but had the impression that it was much bigger water than what is shown in the pictures.
Are the pics indiciative of the rivers size or is the area where they were taken a bit smaller than the rest?
By the way, who is that in pic #2 with a tight line?

Mark:
Nope, it's a relatively small river. And that's the problem as it gets crowded real quick. This year has been especially bad. I would find four or five cars full of people on the river no matter what time of day I got there. A couple of guys wading down the middle of the river ahead of you kills it.
One day last week I drove up to a spot I usually fish and while I was rigging up a car pulled in next to me and a guy jumped out, grabbed his rod and ran down into the river.
Went down there this morning and was all alone, so maybe the springtime crowd has gone back to golf or whatever.
Down in Connecticut it is a big river that can handle a bunch of folks. I used to fish there often but don't anymore thanks to the price of gas.
