A few of us have talked about it. So let's see how much interest there is in a fly swap.
There is a few ways to do this:
1) Everyone mails their flies to me with a stamped self addressed envelope and I randomly mail them back out to the participants.
2) Everyone selects their favorite pattern and tie one fly for every participant that signs up. For example if 10 people sign up and your favorite pattern is a Caddis Emerger then you tie 10 Caddis Emergers and mail them to me. Once all the participants mail me their flies, I send everyone one fly from each tyer. So if 10 people participate, you'll receive 10 different flies.
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hey Joe, I'm in. And that sounds fine for the first swap. I was thinking we should try to challenge each other with this. We should set particular patterns, or at least types of flies. Whether we tie drys, wets, streamers or whatever. That way, if you are weaker with a certain type of fly this will give you the push to try it anyway. And we can always help each other out on the fly tying board.
Just a thought, Gregg
