I joined Mike and Andrew down on Lake Buel today to try my hand at ice fishing. We had a great time and landed a few fish. Here's some pics from the day. Mike and a hog that he pulled out of the ice.  I got a close up so he could tell us it was big.   Dinner.  So I used bait and killed a fish. I'm going to go tell the guys on FlyFisherman.com's forum and see who yells at me first.  |

sweet perch! looks like it was a good day, how was the wind? it was windy as all get out up here from all the reports i've heard.

It was beautiful outside. No wind and sunny. The forecast said it was going to be awful out though.

Had a BLAST! My totals for the weekend was something like 30+ perch 5+pickerel, 3 very large bass... I was very happy to pull 2 3+lbs bass out of Lake Buel in the winter.
Joe got broken in on the ice and then Broke in the ice !!!!!
Next time I am up, I will gladly host on the ice!

Not a pic update but we did catch an MONSTER pickerel through the ice last weekend .... it was huge... wish you guys could have seen that one. It could have well been a state record for all i know. it was around 30 inches most likely bigger
