Deerfield River 4/1/2006

Gregg and me hit the Deerfield this morning. We started out at the Upper C&R and finished the day just downstream from Zoar Gap. We both got skunked due to that water release. It would of been nice though, there was a decent hatch starting and the sun was shining.

On a serious note, had a great day for my first time on the Deerfield. Caught 2 kayaks and a canoe. But those d**n catch and release rules are a bitc*. I made sure they got back into the water safe and sound.
