Joe,
What's the recipe? The body looks like peacock herl with some red thread/floss. I know it's a standard, but I've never tried to make this one before.
I thought you promoted barbless fishing?

I promote catching.
Hook = #8 Dry, I tied it big, it's for decoration
Brown hackle
Duck wings
Peacock body
Red floss in the middle
Golden Pheasent tippet tail

fwiw... i will fish barbless flie but usually leave the barbs intact on my flies. i give many away and then that person who recieves them can do what they want, it's easy enough to crimp them with the hemos while your on the water.

I have some 1/0's that are a pain in the but to crimp the barb on. I need to use my Multi-tool to crush the barb on those.
