I've recently moved back to the area and am looking for a place to get fly tying materials. I live in Northampton, and I know of the shops in the Pioneer valley (e.g. BG in Westfield, Pioneer Sporting in Noho, Valley Sports in Easthampton). I work in Pittsfield a few days a week, and was looking around for a place out there. Daves Sporting in Pitts was very limited, and I couldn't seem to find Dick Moon's (It was on Fenn St. when I was growing up out there). Where do you guys get your stuff? I'm looking forwared to hitting the Westfield wehn driving home along route 9, and I know there's going to be many times where I want to pick up that last minute supply before leaving Pitts. I hope I'm not relegated to going to Dicks or some other big box retailer.
Thanks for any help, Jeff

Dick Moon's has been out of business for a year or so.
The new Dick's on Merrill Rd. has nothing.
Either the internet or catalogs are your choices in the County.
There are a couple of good shops along the Housy and the Farmington in CT if you get down that way.

I go to Pioneer Valley Sporting Goods or up to Orvis in Manchester. Ironically Pioneer Valley has a better selection of the stuff I use then Orvis does.

B&G Sporting Goods used to have quite a bit of stuff. I haven't been in there in the past 2-3 years. It's right on the main road (Russell Road) across from the river. If your heading out from Lee it is past past the huge turnpike overpass, just before you get to Tekoa Country Club and into Westfield.
