just wondering if you guys ever do fly swaps? it' a good chance to get flies from your friends and show others your stuff. i've participated in these elsewhere and it's generally a cool experience. to get it going someone is chosen to be the distributer and you start a thread where those who want in can post up that they wish to join in and what pattern they'll tie (so you don't end up with to many of the same pattern). everyone ties as many flies as there are people in the swap and sends them to the distributer who makes up packs containing one of each and sends them out. i'd happily participate but i don't think i'd be a good distributer due to the fact that i'm not local to you folks. just an idea i thought i'd throw out there

I'm in. My ugly flies catch fish, but they are ugly. I can make some hare's ear nymphs. Let me know.
Happy New Year.

It's pretty easy, Andy. Just set a date for the swap to end and everyone has to have their flies mailed to you by that date. Then when we all mail our flies to you we enclose a self addressed stamped envelope for you to mail the flies back.
Also you can set a theme to the swap, I think last year we did nymphs. It's up to you, though. You're the Swap Master now!
Start a new thread and title it "Fly Swap 07" or something and set the rules that you want.
Speaking of the Berkshire Bug, I've heard two different patterns for this title. It would be cool if we could do some research on these. ;D
