Cabelas just opened a 200k s.f. store about 20 minutes from home.
Its nice to know that I won't have to drive an hour when I discover that I'm low on terminal tackle materials...and what ever else I may want at the time.
The downside when I visited was that most of the guys in the fly shop were the f'n snaggers (Eastern Europeans) stocking up for the impending runs.

Our Cabelas is supposed to open in about a month or so. We did just get another L.L. Bean but the Fly Fishing department is a little smaller than expected.
Anyone know when the Bass Pro Shops in Foxboro is supposed to open?

I also have two Bass Pros in the area, one about an hour and the other a little further. I prefer Cabelas fly shop.

Yes, a nice selection that appears to be stocked with materials for tying flies for the species in this area.
They aren't fully stocked yet and the department manager said that they will be getting more every day.
