Congratulations Joe. I think Fisher is a great name and would serve him well. The trick is getting to the birth certificate before your wife does.

My daughters are named Melissa and Jennifer. If I had gotten to the birth certificate first they would have been Asbury and Satchmo.

Nice work! It's a good thing we made up to the Salmon River this year as planned so you could catch that Steelie and trophy 30" Brown!

Joe Congratulations Will this be your first child? I have 2. They are 72 + 73 now. Oh wait, my mistake. I confuse my parents for being my kids. Every year my accountant reminds me that I can't claim them even though I take care of them

Yup, it's my first. Shouldn't cut into too much fishing time though, my wife is pretty awesome. I'll be chasing those salmon next year. Plus as it gets older it will just give me more reasons to go fishing. strbender: I'm having a kids for the same reason your parents had you, Steve. I need somewhere to live when I get old. I hear the nursing homes won't let you have beer.

Congradulations to you also!
I noticed you chose Issac for his name when I was on your photo album. That's a nice name also.

Those are three good name... crap, now your just making it harder for me. I just ran those 3 past my wife plus "Ezra" but she says no. I want a good Christian name that has a good meaning to it, like how Joseph mean "God will Bless" in Hebrew and Ezra means "God will Help". To many choises, we don't even know if it's a boy or a girl yet. Maybe I'll just name it Pat, can go either way with that one.... ;D I think I have a cousin in Maine named Noah Overlock....

Congratulations Joe. I hope all goes well for you and your wife. Children are the most rewarding part of life.
As for a name....... Trout Overlock sounds nice. Or Copper John Overlock has a certain panache to it. And my personal favorite Deerfield Overlock.
Seriously though your going to do great at this parenting thing.
