i'll be in the area; where to?

i am coming down tomorrow AM; my brother has some heavy duty issues going on, needs me to come down

i am thinking of taking him out fishing fri mid-day for a bit....anything fishing reasonably well? he likes the gorge (either from the top down or bottom up)....is there any water, ok temp, any fish?

deerfield is an option, but we'd be after the release i would think?

any other options?

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner, Tim. I just got back from the Salmon River in New York. Next time you come up here drop me a ine and I'll take you out on the Hoosic or Deerfield.

we ended up at the swift....far from my fave, but nearer his house (16 acres/springfield)

saw lots of fish, even landed a few....good to be out, but i would have rather headed west!

will be down the end of oct, might get my dad to sneak out that sunday, but don't know for sure...
