Went for a mid-morning 7 mile hike straight up the mountain out the back door of the Old Homestead. Of course, the black clouds rolled in quickly, and I was soaked to the skin for most of the hike.
And, the ticks were wicked bad! I picked at least 50 off my pants during the course of the day….
Once the rain started, the camera went into a plastic bag, so I was only able to snap a couple of pictures. Nothing great, but it was nice to get out....
