Inspected carefully and approved by AgMd, flymandan and other interested and experienced bamboo members, I have a bamboo project rod from around the 30's or possibly the 40's (AgMd identified it in his book) with 3 pieces around 8 ft (if I recall correctly) probably a 5-weight or so that needs stripping, refinishing and new hardware, grip, etc. I paid $20 for this rod and two others that are not as good.
AgMd, do you recall who you said the manufacturer was from the label?
Does anyone want them for my cost?

Josh,
I'm interested. It just so happens that I have an extra 20 bucks from the 50/50 raffle that my wife doesn't yet know about! Drop me an email at jskowron@sullivanandassoc.com to discuss the details.

Do I remember that "Quality Tackle" could be read in a red and yellow oval. ? Sinclair tells us that decal was used from 1926 ---> the end of WWII. If so that would be South Bend. Nice project rod. Should be an "all around" rod, dries , wets, streamers. My GUESS is 6 or 7 wt. AgMD
