I see in the May newsletter that you folks are planning on teaching the new fly fishing merit badge at CSR this summer. Good news! I spent many a summer at Chesterfield as a member of Troop 88, North Adams (Eagle Scout, Class of 1986). Wish they had a fly fishing merit badge back then….

Whole lotta tasty perch in that there "Scout Pond!"

Congratulations on making Eagle Scout. With hind site 20/20 I wish I went for my Eagle. I grew up in Troop 88 also and I'm excited that we're going to be involved with the Boy Scouts and have the chance to take them fishing.

When you take a kid fishing, is it the kid that catches the fish, or the fish that catches the kid?

I'd rather be fishin'...
