The water is at normal depths and flow for this time of the year. The color is a stunning green/aqua blue/green. The water still had a chill in it in the shade and in the few really deeper pools, but in the middle of the water where the sun hit it head on, the water was like bath water. I saw a few dace scatter, but no trout or suckers. Unless the water temps cool down dramatically, the Green will not be a good catch and release river due to the conditions if you're looking for trout.

4/28 Grenn River in Egremont
Water was a perfect green with normal flows and chilly ( I didn't take a temp. read). Fish are hiding in the deepest slowest pools under logs and in the roots of blow-down trees. -Very hard to fish, but agreat experience to wade.
