The water was as warm as bath water today. The flow and depth was about normal for the river and vegetation on the banks was lush. I found three dead small mouth bass on the bottom in knee deep water that had some gentle riffles. I could't tell if the fish were caught and released poorly, if the water temps got to them or if there was some pollution somewhere upstream. I was surprised to see them dead since smallies are typically so hearty. Hopefully this is not a bad sign...
