Notch Brook - A.K.A. The Cascades

I headed out at the crack of dawn this morning and braved the cold in an effort to catch one of god's prettiest and dumbest creatures, the brook trout. I went to my favorite fly for the brookies, the bead head flashback PT nymph, tied by Mark (aka Fishes-With-Bait). After about 2 hours of the cold I headed back to the truck with a head count of 3 brookies, all caught and released, and the biggest being around 8 inches. All 3 brookies where all spawned out.

O.K. I was going to let you comment in your other post on this creek that said something like "the flies he ties for me" as if I was you personal tyer.

However, I can't let the "fishes-with-bait" comment go. Joe what prompted such an outrageous comment?!?. Did you forget that I threw some "Holy Grails" and " Birds Nests" in with the other BHFBPT freebies I sent you.

Hmmmm, maybe I should start charging for my services...
