7/3: Fished with Joe Overlock. We managed several nice brookies in the stretch along Rt. 8 in Adams. All were caught on a flashback, beadhead PT and picked up a decent brown at the confluence of the Green and Hoosac on a Hornberg.
7/6: Got out after hitting the Deerfield in the morning and picked up 4 browns between 10" and 14" in the same stretch along Rt 8, all on a #16 copper john.
The river has changed quite a bit since the last time I fished it but it still producing quite nicely.

That flashback nymph we used on the river was a killer for brook trout. If there was a brookie within 6 inches of it, he was going to eat it. It's a great pattern and I hope to get some pictures of it on the website soon.
