Olaf Borge, who is the major supplier of silk lines in the US, has announced that after the 15th of April, silk lines will undergo a MAJOR price increase and their price will be adjusted weekly to reflect the value of the US Dollar vs. the Euro.
If you have been thinking about buying a silk line, now is the time to do it.

FWIIW I have Thebault silk lines in 6 and 4 wt dt and a 5 wt dt on the way. I like them a lot. The Thebault lines do take a bit of breaking in, but they are a delight to cast and properly taken care of, they will last a lifetime.
