I'm not a huge fan of the Mk V or what the venerable House of Hardy has become in recent years. I have what I swear was one of the last new Bougle Mk IV 3” reels sold in North America.... I had wanted a Bougle for years. So, when I saw that the Mk IV was discontinued back around 2003, I spent months searching for a new one. All fly shops, E-Bay, Internet searches, etc. turned up empty. Finally, someone I know saw one on a shelf in a shop in Toronto and alerted me. I pounced....    |

Mark, I really don't mind the post , and I do like my Marquis, but a Bougle --- ( NOT GREEN) would be wicked nice.
Dan, You are absolutely right. Speaking of which-- I do have a number of nice 7 & 8 wt rods that could be had for an exceptionally good price. Just the thing for streamers and fish as big as a steelhead. Some are refinished, some are just as I got them. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and I can see if I have something you might be interested in. If someone has a specific interest I could bring some to the casting night for your inspection.
