hey guys (and kim in particular) -
i bought an old reel (unmarked aluminum) on ebay on a whim for $10 and was happy to find what appears to be a serviceable silk double taper on the spool! i'm thinking that i'll clean it and dress it for spring... any advice? i've read online that the mucilin in the red tin is the way to go unless one is interested in the exotic solutions like bear fat (which i'm not).
thanks for any tips - i'm curious to see if it works out!
