I'm curious how minimal or 'maximal' people are with their gear. In my creel I carry:
Small fly box (usually in my shirt pocket) Leaders Tippet (5+6x) Tippet straightener Clippers/needle clearer Forceps Bug spray Thermometer Floatant Sink tip
What about y'all?

I stuff a tube of floatant, desiccant, a small flybox, a spool of tippet material, my lunch, and a small flask of hooch into a ratty Arctic Creel strung across my shoulder. Sometimes I bring pewter “Jefferson cups” for clinking with a good buddy. Few things in life are better than toasting a beautiful day streamside with a wee dram of Midleton Irish whiskey May – August. September is reserved for Calvados and the first taste of glorious Autumn.

I have one of everything.
0x - 8x tippet Strike indicators - Orange and Green Nymph Seine Thermometer matches braided loops - for the end of my fly line split shot dispensor various sizes of split shot forceps 2 - 5' pieces of sink tip floatant fly box line snips Business cards for the club notepad w/ pencil Kitchen sink
And that list is just off the top of my head... I've got other stuff tucked away in that vest that I can't even thing of right now. Heck, I've even got a pocket designed just for an Atlas/Map. I like to have my vest be a complete fishing system.

Ya know Joe, you’d free up a lot of room if you’d stop slummin’ with nymphs and fish only dries. Just look at that list! Almost half of it is crapola for subsurface dredging…. ;D

Nymphing is the best! The dries aren't always in the air. That's why I always always out fish Josh Field.

Nymphing barely constitutes fly fishing. It’s just a step up from bait fishing, and little different from trolling with a spinner. This could constitute grounds for impeachment….

I forgot to include: pipe/matches Joe - you forgot to add: beer and deer feed ;D btw - I do have a few nymphs and (god forbid) streamers in my box... why else would i have sink tip. I just don't fish them very often because I'm a terrible optimist, always thinking that they'll take dries even if there isn't a hatch for 30 miles. Now, Joe's dropper rigs are another story. Those things scare the heck out of me.

Dropper rigs are the best. I'll tie you up one for the next time we go out. Pumkinseeds like the nymphs too, you'll be fine. And I did forget to mention my cooler insert for my vest. My next upgrade will call for a tap. No deer feed, though... just Karma Now as for calling me a wormdunker, Uplander... I heard a rumor that you use gill nets

Dry fly fishing is a magnum opus worthy of the Clark Art Institute. Nymphing is the artistic equivalent of the twaddle one finds at MASS MoCA. ;D
