Went last year on Saturday. Weather was not the best but enjoyed it nonetheless. Will try and make it again this year. I'll try and look you up if I go.

did u get to stay for the incredible bonfire?
my brother came up for the 1st time and we put him to work cooking sausages on saturday. it was our chapters (millers river) turn to cook.
i first went 3 years ago and camped with dave and michelle from the deerfield chapter - don't know if you knew them.....
lastly - how was your fishing? were you 1 of the 20% that caught 80% of the fish?

My camping days have long since past, which makes it a day trip for me. I left before the bonfire as I was too cold after fishing to hang around. Plus I did not fancy navigating the road out in the dark.
The only folks I knew there were other guys from Taconic.
I did manage to catch a couple of fish where the current runs up against the bank just down from where you enter the river. Folks up in the pool above there were taking some Saturday afternoon, though I was told it was better early in the morning and on Friday.
