Has anyone else been fishing the North Branch of the Hoosic this year? I haven't even seen any spin casters in the normal spots this year since they stocked and I think there might be good reason...
I went to a spot today that is pretty much certain to hold brookies. Never been there in previous years and not seen them there. It seems like a silly notion, but I wonder if the raging torrents this spring washed everything down stream and no fish can get back up the river because of the dams.
Anyhow - I'm hoping someone will tell me that they've been up there recently and there are spots up there that are still productive this year.
