Once again it is time to start thinking about it . 5 months will go by fast. It looks like the date will be May 18th. This is the last Sunday before the 3 day memorial weekend.

Now that I know that ANY fish counts, I'm going to be staking out some nice smallmouth/sucker/dace pools for this year. It shouldn't be hard to top the two little bass that I scored last year!
This was a great event last year and I look forward to it this year. Let me know what I can do to help out.

I will post a pdf as it gets closer and send out a trifold like last year to members. but it is simple and we are there to have some fun and laughs. Here are the rules.
This is a Fly Fishing only Event!in the Lee and Glendale Catch & Release areas on the Housatonic River
This is how the game works!
After Check-in we will set you up in groups of 2 to 3 people and send you out on the water. It is up to the groups to keep track of how many fish each other catch. Remember this is all in good clean fun! You will get one card per fish with a limit of 5. You will be able to fish until noon. Afterwards you will report back to check in with your fish count. Then we will proceed to Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a Barbeque. After the Barbeque we will hand out the cards and announce the winner. Awards and prizes will then be handed out
