... but it still felt good to have a fish on! This season's firsts were two 8 inch Largemouths from a small pond at a local concrete plant. One was caught on a Montana Redneck and the other on a Moby Dick. You basically had to hit the fish in the head with the fly for them to take it- the water was cold and they weren't moving to fast. Hopefully I'll have some trout to report on in week or two.

That takes some numble fingers to lip a fish that small ;D

The fingers weren't nimble enough-Note the dirt on the fishes' face in the second picture from my dropping it on the first try!
