Well I am looking forward to some warmer weather! This is the first time in the 25 plus years that I have seen the Konkapot frozen over. Normaly in the past we would see some anchor ice in the river and my father inlaw would tell me the next storm is rain and with out fail sure enough it would rain and open up the river. so maybe a little warmer weather will do the same. It appears the bridge will be reopened this spring, most of the concrete work is done. what a mess there. Today they had a big fire going burning all the scrapes. I guess it is better then letting it flow down river this spring when the rains start. Enough venting.........Hope to be at the meeting next week, see everyone then.

I got a warm weather tease this past week.... I was casting to 18" browns rising to size 22 midges with an outside air temp of 60 degrees (BigHorn river in Montana). Then reality set in when I got off the plane in Albany where it was below zero....

How does the bridge work look I hope they did a good job... that road is always closed.....Tornado damage, new bridge, construction....JEESH River Road takes a beating!
