This is an Open invite to BCFF members for some Ice fishing (ice drinking) this weekend in South County, I Will be drilling holes from Thursday to Sunday. If anyone wants to join us, we have a Chimenia ! Come hang out on the Ice ! Even if you only have an hour or two !

Sounds like fun! I'm free Saturday afternoon. What do I need to bring? I've never been ice fishing before.
What weight fly rod do you recommend? ;D

Looks like I'm free Saturday Afternoon too !
You would need extra warm clothes, A sandwich or if you want to eat the fish we catch I have a grill. Lawn chair. And if you can get some bait, the nearest for me is in Pittsfield which is 40 minutes away.... I have to go to get my license renewed anyways. The Onota boat livery has the best choices of bait.
I have 6-10 tip-ups, state law is 6 hookpoints per person. So if you want to bring 6 tip-ups go ahead. We usually just share the ones I got. We can set up anywhere on the lake and make a fire and hangout. All of the spots catch different fish so its an adventure.
I will be leaving for Massachusetts tonight, and I have internet. I will be fishing tomorrow everyday and snowboarding at Butternut.
