Welcome, Dan. I live in Great Barrington and get out to fish the Farmington, Clam, Buck and others in that area. I find the Farmington to not be as productive once the waters get warm mid summer, but I still really like that rt. 8 stretch. I can always find shade in those smaller streams with tall trees grown over like the Clam and Buck that have some slightly cooler water, even mid summer. I've never fished the Westfield or the Konkapot and would welcome the opportunity when the ice dissapears.

February Meeting
BAMBOO NIGHT!
Last year we had such a great turn out for Bamboo Night we just had to make it a tradition. This year Pittsfield High School generously donated the use of their gym to give all those attending a chance to cast these Tonkin treasures and not have to worry about the weather.
Bring your Bamboo rods to show to other members or just come to see the the other rods present. Last year we had some real gems in the crowd! It should be exciting to see what we see this year!
Coffee, Snacks, and other Refreshments will be provided! But feel free to bring some baked goods!

Finally! Someone who fishes the Konkapot ! I am from south county, and I would love to fish the Konkapot ! We are gonna have to meet up and fish that together at some point. What stretches of the konkapot do you fish?? I have a house On Lake Buel and thrive to learn these waters around it.
