With air temps. being upwards of 40-50 degrees during the middle of the day in the next week down here in South County, what nymphs (or other flies) might you suggest for the Housatonic?
I was going to use some bead head hare's ears amd some zug bug types and possibly the usual wooly bugger. -Any suggestions? Sizes?

JLIBS:
Last time I was down there bead head GRHE was working.
Good to hear weather remains that good.

Thanks, CTROY.
Weather is relative. The water is hgh and muddy, like spring. Mild temps are good for my oil heating bill, but lousy for skiing, ice fishing and other winter hobbies.
I'll try the GBHE's.

What ever you decide to fish, go small and fish slow and deep.
I would recommend EBSs around March timeframe or when you start to see them. You won't see much before then except for midges and the occasional BWO hatch on a warmer day.

Hey! Look who's back from Florida! How was the trip, Mark? The kids enjoy Disney?

Yup, back from Florida and trying to get caught up. We all had a great time.
Got my official BFF head gear yesterday. I'm really happy with the quality. Are shirts next?
