Well was at the Swift yesterday and caught a couple of small brookies on a dry fly, a small adams. I live on cape cod and for the last month i have been catching tons of trout, the most was 12 in about 65 minutes in my secret little trout pond. Been catching them on a teeny tiny little blue winged olive. It has been amazing and fun. I am wondering what the mighty Deerfield is doing these days as i am planning a drive out to fish it in a week or 2. So thats whats going on with me.....

The Deerfield's been slow for me the last few time I was up there. Maybe I'll head up tomarow and give everyone a report, fish or no fish! ;D If I get skunked I'm going to lie my a$$ off.....

I've had a great time on the Deerfield these past two weekends. Catching a mix of bows and browns swinging streamers and drifting a small pink egg pattern. They stocked it two weeks ago...

I think it's been about 3 weeks since I've been up there. Maybe I'll head up there sometime today. The Hoosic has been great though. I still haven't seen any fish bigger then you 16 1/2 incher, Jim. I've got something for you guys, I'll post it here so we can kind of hide it. I was talking to Andrew Madden (MassWildlife) and he was telling me about a 26 inch brown that the shocked out of the Hoosic 3-4 years ago. If you guys want the location then IM me or email me and I'll tell you. But that's the biggest confirmed fish I've ever heard of coming out of there. It's going to be a while before we get anymore big fish in there, now.
