Hi folks. On August 29th Southwest Vt TU is hosting an educational forum about the behavior of wild brown trout and their interaction with stocked trout, Presenting will be Dr. Robert Bachman, a leading fishery biologist that is an authority on this subject.

The meeting is at 7 pm and the location, while not confirmed, is likely to be at Burr and Burton Acadamy in Manchester.

There is no cost to attend but we will be conducting a raffle for an Orvis Zero Gravity Rod that has been generously donated for this special event.

Come learn why stocking the Battenkill (or any other wild trout stream) is not a good idea.
