Hi folks. On August 29th Southwest Vt TU is hosting an educational forum about the behavior of wild brown trout and their interaction with stocked trout, Presenting will be Dr. Robert Bachman, a leading fishery biologist that is an authority on this subject. The meeting is at 7 pm and the location, while not confirmed, is likely to be at Burr and Burton Acadamy in Manchester. There is no cost to attend but we will be conducting a raffle for an Orvis Zero Gravity Rod that has been generously donated for this special event. Come learn why stocking the Battenkill (or any other wild trout stream) is not a good idea. Check out www.tuswvt.org for additional details and the confirmed location - we should have that this week but want lots of people in attendance so are spreading the word so folks can save the date. Thanks very much. Doug Lyons

Sounds interesting. I'd like to go. If anybody else plans to go maybe we could car pool for the trip to Manchester.
