Anyone know a spot here in the North East that you can fish for Kokanee? Does Champlain hold them?

Not in Champlain or Ontario. I don't know about the other Gerat Lakes, but I have a poster of Great Lakes Fishes and it only shows Chinook, Coho, Pink, and Atlantic. I have not heard of pinks in Ontario. AgMD

Joe, There are Kokanee in Connecticut. West Hill Pond (New Hartford). Check out the the Ct. DEP website - www.dep.state.ct.us/burnatr/fishing/fdhome.htm The sight will also give you up to date fishing reports. Hope this helps, now back to work. Bob

Thanks, Bob. Maybe I'll take a trip down there to fish for them.
