The guys that make it so awesome are Jim and Mark. They put a lot of work into their articles. We're nipping at the heals of the real magazines because of them!
I mean, how many of the real magazines publish anything about bamboo? Never mind a step-by-step guide to hand plaining a rod from a guy who in my opinion makes the best rods I've ever seen. Jim makes AWESOME bamboo rods and he's way to modest about it.
And when it comes to fly tying some of the fly patterns they cover seem to be there only because they need to find content for the magazine. Mark's flies are great patterns for catching fish with (I can account to that first hand because his patterns are my "go-to" flies, especially his Bead-Head Pheasant Tail Flashback Nymph) and he's VERY thorough with his pictures and descriptions.
Mark makes me a better angler and Jim inspires me to keep our traditions alive.

Just sign up for it on the main page of the website. I'll email you this month's version and if you like it I'll send you last month's also (the first issue).
