It's my understanding that the traveling transplant, Mark Patenaude, and the intrepid Joe Overlock, were getting together these past few days to fish the bejezzus out of some Berkshire rivers.
Well fellows, how's it going?

Sorry for the delayed report. You know what waits for you when you get back from a vacation.
Excellent fishing on the Hoosic.
Day 1: Fish the Hoosic all day. 30+ fish. One nice Bow around 14" and a 12" Brookie which I will post a pic of when I get time. Caught them on all kinds of nymphs, dries and emergers. Had one Brown that had to be pushing 18" smack a Pass Lake Streamer and made a couple of good jumps and ran straight at me and I couldn't get my slack line in quick enough and he tossed the fly.
Day 2: Fished the Deerfield in the morning. Water was up. Not even a bump. Fished the Hoosic in afternoon. Somewhere around 15 fish.
Day 4: Fished the N. Adams area of the Hoosic. No takers. Went to the section in Adams in the afternoon. Somewhere around 15 fish again but this time all on dries!!!
All in all a very nice time.
Mark

I was waiting until Mark posted the report, I didn't' want to ruin the surprise. He had one heck of an outing, plus he nailed that 12" Brookie. Hurry up and post the pictures, Mark!
