Just wondering what kind of shape the Hoosic, Green, et. al. are in. My sister who lives in North Adams told me its been raining for quite a few days.
I check the USGS flow data for the Hoosic in Williamstown and it looks like its running about 30-40% over the daily mean flow.
I'll be there 6/7 thru 6/12 and am hoping that the rivers are in good to excellent shape.
As I stated in a previous message, Joe and I will be getting out and anyone who wants to joins us is welcome. I'd like to meet some of you guys (and maybe girls) who are good to excellent fly fishers. I didn't mean to sound negative there but I'm not giving any lessons while on the water, I'm fishing. That is except for Joe; I like sharing tactics and techniques with him. Joe is one of those guys who will work hard to put the fly where it needs to be and I like those kinds of fishers. He very technical in his approach and gets into the zone like I do. The last time we got out I really enjoyed myself and am looking forward to getting out again.

I'd like to meet up with you depending on my work/travel schedule.
Regarding Joe, he could probably use some tips from you. I've seen him in action. Also, Joe likes it when I help him net his fish. He's really very appreciative and he expresses himself quite articulately with some choice words.

Josh: I always as the good side of things. I think Joe does a good job and he is open to learning more and is alot of fun to be with on the water. However, based on his passed "netting" performance, I'll net my own. I just need to reach around my vest, pop the net off the magnet and take care of business. If I see Joe getting close to try to help I'll throw a river rock at him. The dates I'm in town are in the previous message. I'm leaving out mid-day on Wednesday and getting into Albany in the later afternoon. I'll be ready to go bright and early Thursday morning. Send me a PM or email my personal email with your schedule and phone # and we'll try to get together. Mark
