It's raining pretty good here in the eastern part of the state. I hope everyone gets some much needed rain. Some of the fires on the news yesterday looked bad and the fish need a drink.

We got plenty here in the Midwest over the last couple of days. From what I have heard, the drought is officially over.

No I hadn't heard about that but it looks limited to one county.
I believe that they are shifting the resources to other counties that have more and better trout water. At least thats that idea that was on the table last year and it looks like its happening. It will be a better overall situation as the Driftless area will get the majority of the fish that aren't stocked in the other areas.

It's hot and very humid, but no rain, here in Houston, TX. I wish it would cool down. We have it good in the Berkshires!
