Wet a line for the first time this year yesterday and today. I don't usually fish this early, but the weather has been so nice that water levels are primo, and I had to burn some energy out of my 10 week old pup....
So, we spent Saturday morning walking around the Berkshire woods, and the afternoon trout fishing. Piper absolutely loves brooks! She climbs all over the banks, enjoying the cold rocks, and splashes in the water without fear. So far, she sits patiently beside me while I fish. We have also fell into a tradition whereby she “kisses” each trout before it is released…. Enjoyed it so much, we went fishing again this morning.
And, we are much better behaved without all that pent up energy….
